As the digital designer of PassMe during the time frame of 12 weeks, I was tasked with redesigning PassMe's logo which would be capable of clearly defining the core values which they encompass. I was also given the responsibility to design social media posts that would help increase their online activity.

The core value I decided that defines PassMe the best was definitely 'Community Building'. The reason for this is because PassMe hopes to enrich the abroad journey of international students and through their journey, makes many more meaningful relationships that hopes to last forever.

After having to finish my sketching processes, the client liked the sketch logo that was incorporated into the letter M:

The main design structure of the letter "M" in "PassMe". The "M" divided into two halves show two people holding hands together forming a bond between each other.

The heart shape formed by the hands of two people which indicates to the audience that the goal of PassMe is to help international students make abroad life more welcoming.

However an unexpected aspect that came to me from the client was a 3D perspective kind of aspect incorporated into the logo.

The 3D aspect came from the inspiration of a company called Lazada and the client really like this aspect as it makes the logo a bit more unique and more pleasing to look at.

After finishing the logo design in Adobe Illustrator, I had given it some additional features into the redesigned logo that would have came from the original design:

This was implemented so that it could give a bit more playfulness to the logo.

The arc curve in the middle of "PassMe" was added, remaining consistent like the original logo design.

As a final result, the final logo design incorporates the letter "M" formed by the hands of two people and creating a heart shape. It is developed further through adding in a sense of 3D into the logo to not only give it uniqueness but also more aesthetically pleasing to look at.
